This week was filled with tales of Americans and Crime and their Stories. On deck this week are reviews of American Crime and American Crime Story. Beyonce also got us all in #Formation and Brandi was present and ready for all the wonder.
The ladies agree that at this point in their lives they no longer have time to endure subpar status quo programming. While quality programming is hard to find these days, the ladies manage to squeeze out some solid recommendations. American Crime, Married at First Sight, The X-Files, Lucifer, and Younger get the nod of approval this week. They also tip their hats and give a high five to the SAG Awards.
X-Files, X-Files and more X-Files! Not really, but Alaia DID attend a marathon event and gives her recap. We also discuss TBS’ new comedy Angie Tribeca, Donald Trump’s little dancers, documentary Brother Outsider and the state of the Academy Awards (aka the Oscars).
We take a moment to honor the lives of David Bowie and DJ Zin. Thanks to Alaia, we learned that the Golden Globes and People’s Choice awards were both lackluster. Channing Tatum showed us that he runs the world while Jenna Dewan-Tatum hops on her pony on Lip Sync Battle. Alaia finished up Making a Murderer last week so you know the ladies had to dive in to discuss their thoughts.
2016 is here! We’re back and on this week’s show, we cover shows returning this winter, Luther’s brief return and The Affair finale. We serve up quite a bit of phrase for FYI Network’s foray into reality TV as we discuss Married At First Sight and #BlackLove. But streaming services really capture our attention as we cover Transparent, Making A Murderer, Black Mirror White Christmas and 30 Rock.
This week, we appreciate that there’s still so much entertainment to enjoy in December. We actually discuss some movies this week! We also talk about NBC’s latest live musical, The Wiz, Ryan Gosling on SNL, the triumpant return of Transparent, and more.

There’s nothing quite like a little Sunday night delight. The ladies are grateful that The Leftovers and the Affair continue to deliver week after week. The best ride at ShondaLand continues to be How to Get Away with Murder while Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal need a reboot. What the Huck, Shonda!! Netflix’s Narcos, Master of None, and Beasts of No Nation get a solid stick wit it this week. Also, folks wanna pop off about Patti’s pies so James Wright Chanel provided a lucrative solution.
